We enjoy camping whenever we can get away from the city, which for us is Fort Worth, Texas. Don’t get us wrong. We love Fort Worth. It has so many wonderful restaurants, museums, and activities, and we live in the heart of it all, soaking up as much culture as we can. We spend our time going to stellar restaurants and thoroughly enjoying city life. Still, there’s nothing like recharging outdoors.

This venture is a combination of everything we love—camping, nature, food, family, and art. Jerry is an aspiring voice actor, and I wish I could paint flowers every day. We’re using everything we’ve learned over the past decade in our adventures together to bring you all the information you need to fully enjoy your own excursions into the wild.

Our goal is to make every trip memorable. You never know what’s going to happen. A raccoon might steal your leftover garlic mashed potatoes while you’re eating a tender steak cooked over the campfire, an armadillo might stand up and run across the road as you startle it in the middle of the night on the way to the restroom, or a deer might simply greet you as you drive up to the campsite. It’s all part of the experience, so let us show you how to savor it all.
