We hiked these trails in the summer heat, so we kept it short. Even with 90-degree temperatures, we were able to enjoy this hike because the trails were well shaded and there was a nice breeze into the early afternoon. There were a number of spiders on this hike, along with views of the lake, which had a number of different type of dragonflies. We also saw mushrooms and shelf fungi as well as flowers, grasses, and cacti.
