Lake Mineral Wells State Park is a little over an hour’s drive from Dallas/Fort Worth. The rocky shores and cliff faces give the park a unique look and feel.

4 out of 5 stars — Enjoyable park, even in the winter. This site is located right off the Blue Waterfront Trail, but it’s small with unlevel ground and little shade.
